Some of the climbs.... Kirkstone pass is a popular request it climbs to over 400 metres in 3 miles. Honister pass is one of the toughest climbs the UK has to offer, it is steep and uncompromising. Hardknott Pass probably the most difficult and steep climb in England with a peak of 393 metres. There are country lanes, permitted cycle ways and bridle ways with some amazing views.
